The "Angel Bridge," a civil structure, won the Presidential Award at the "2020 Korea National Land Competition." The Prime Minister's Award was awarded to the Urban Regeneration Project, "A Banha (a shared space) created by young people."

 

This year's Presidential Award for National Territory Competition was highly praised for creating a new regional landscape representing the west coast by combining the formation of surrounding islands with the establishment of the world's first high-rise tower (main span length: 510m) that introduced cable settlement to the head of FCM, which connects the islands of Sinan-gun, which consist of 1,004 islands.

The Prime Minister's Award was praised for presenting a new community revitalization model by creating six semi-underground rental houses, which had long been neglected under the leadership of young architects, into youth co-working spaces, shared kitchens and indoor guardings.

The cable-stayed bridge section of the Cheonsang Bridge was handled by the Daewoo Engineering & Construction Consortium, while the suspension bridge section was carried out by the Daelim Industrial Consortium.
